Thomas Warney has more than 20 years of experience in Training & Development and Adult Education. He has administered large-scale training programs, and has delivered his own successful programs to hundreds of participants in the areas of business, health care and municipal government. Thomas has also delivered highly successful conference presentations and published numerous articles in the areas of training, communication and workplace satisfaction.  

 

Thomas has worked both as a training developer and administrator, and as an independent trainer specializing in soft skills, developing and delivering programs including Interpersonal Communicating, Customer Service, Dealing With “Difficult People”, Creativity & Problem-solving, Managing Workflow, Goal Setting, Personal Effectiveness and Stress Management.  He has been involved with a wide variety of training institutions, from international (American Management Association) to local (Ontario Municipal Management Institute).  Conference presentations have included NATCON ’98, International Association of Women Police (IAWP), the Ontario Ambulance Operators’ Association, the North American Farm Direct Marketing Association (NAFDMA) and the 2003 Joint Health & Safety Symposium (Brampton).

Thomas is a Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), a black belt in the martial art of Aikido and a performing musician. He is based in Newmarket, Ontario.
